The physical growth of these communities was analysed to aid in the outlining of procedures and techniques which are instrumental in development of new towns along the northern fringes of presently settled regions. Accomplishments of other countries (Great Britain, Sweden, Finland) were compared with similar Canadian accomplishments and provided valuable comparative data. This research project gives a complete analysis of town development problems.
