Traditionally, a school system teaches knowledge but often tests on that knowledge in an artificial way to ensure consistency. A child who knows a lot about reptiles can identify them in movies, out in nature, or at a zoo. A baby keeps trying to walk even when they “fail” and fall, because the test is not contrived, it’s congruent.
