As believers in Christ Jesus, we are all called to study the word of God, consume it, digest it, and regurgitate it at the appropriate time. It is said to be the lamp for the believer in a dark place, that which illuminates the path of the righteous. This book is designed to provoke growth through probing questions regarding the studying of the word of God and to help in the development of a proper devotional life. The only way in which the believer could meditate on the word of God making it to be a delight to their soul is to study and absorb it. This pillar is speaking to the person who has already received the saving knowledge of Christ Jesus and has become part of His church, that individual seeking to grow in the knowledge of God to be conformed to the image of Christ Jesus. To this individual rest the responsibility to hide the word of God within their heart that they may not sin against Him. As a disciple we are commanded by Christ to teach all that He has commanded, this can only be accomplished through studying and rightly applying the word of God in all the life situations.
