Dabei wird der Fragestellung nachgegangen, ob sich aufgrund dieser Herausforderung für nationale Umweltbewegungen, einen "neue", transnationale Umweltbewegung herausbildet, die gemeinsame Ziele verfolgt und auf den gleichen Normen beruht. Dazu werden Lobbystrategien, konlifktives Protestverhalten sowie offiziele Dokumente der entpsprechenden Umweltbewegungen und - Organisationen untersucht.
