Book excerpt: Data quality evaluations for off-site laboratory data collected during the 1992 SI, and 1993 SSI for Groups 2 and 7 are presented in this Appendix. Soil, sediment, and groundwater samples were collected during both field events. Soil, sediment, and groundwater samples collected during the SI and SSI were analyzed in a USAEC performance demonstrated laboratory for Fort Devens Project Analyte List (PAL) analytes. Off-site laboratory analyses for the PAL organics and inorganics are considered approximately equivalent to USEPA analytical support Level III quality data. Soil and groundwater samples were also analyzed in the field during the SI and SSI. Target analytes for these programs are presented in Section 3.0.
