The research grant looked into the meaning of the modern day warrior ethos. The book has been a work in progress over the past thirteen years. Officer has found that we have both a warrior and a spiritual side to our minds rather than logical and creative. The warrior side is interested in the bottom line, is quick to judge, and has a certain toughness. The spiritual side is focused on the process, forgiveness, and exudes calmness.
