Book excerpt: At present there are seven different locations for the crossing of the Red Sea, some of them hundreds of miles apart. Yet this location has a very intricate description, and it is where the greatest miracle in the Hebrew scriptures takes place. There must be something fundamentally wrong to have such a divergence of opinions. There is a prominent ancient historian who has told us that Israel left Egypt from a place that the other routes are not considering. But if you leave from this location not only will you find the crossing point of the Red Sea but also all the place names from Rameses till the Red Sea. G.M. Matheny was a Navy diver on the nuclear submarine USS Halibut and received the Legion of Merit for a special operation. He is a graduated from Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College in 1979. He and his wife Nancy, came to Romania in 1991 with their six children, where they serve as missionaries.
