The front cover, drawn bythe amazing Jack Kamen, is the first appearance of Rulah, jungle goddess, with interior artworkpotentially by Matt Baker.Jane Dodge's airplane crashes in the jungle. Her clothes shredded Jane creates an outfit comprised ofgiraffe hide and parachute cords. She then goes in search of people. After some altercations thevillagers of Towla have Jane fight a leopard to prove her worthiness, then designate her Rulah, their"jungle goddess." Also included in this issue is the six page HARRY, a teen humor story and a thrillingadventure of ace reporter Joan Mason. This collection is missing the two page prose story "JANIE RUNSFOR MAYOR" and both sides of the back cover. Issue #8 has a ten page science fiction yarn starring RickEvans, as well as a five page sports story featuring boxer One Round Hogan. By issue #10 Fox figuredout that Rulah was the queen of sales for ZOOT COMICS and opted to have her be the star of all threestories in each issue going forwards.
