With her love of writing in full bloom, she is hoping that she might be able to work towards making a living as a professional writer once she finishes school, something she plans to accomplish through her chosen career path. In order to assist in her attempts, she took a Creative Writing class, and as a result, ended up partnered with Lee Yang, the young Japanese exchange student who also has a great love of writing. After mustering up the courage to talk to Lee, Lindsey soon finds that the feelings that she had developed in secret for her classmate might not be as one-sided as she had once believed. However, it is obvious that both she and Lee have some minor emotional baggage, and their hesitation to admit to one another their desires could be the one thing that could make or break their chance to have a happy relationship together. Will they be able to find enough common ground that they will succeed in breaking the chains that seem to bind them, or will their relationship ultimately fail before it has a chance to start?
