Book excerpt: Two key Victorian Government investments in Victoria's north east region are projects titled: 'Targeted Biolinks in the North East' and 'North East Mega Murray Flagship' (the Parent Projects). They have attracted an investment of 5 million dollars over three financial years, from 2010-11 to 2012-13. The purpose of the Parent Projects is to protect, enhance and restore ecosystem resilience and connectivity of priority terrestrial and aquatic assets. A significant evaluation has been commissioned by the 'Parent Projects' Steering Committee and this report presents a summary of the methodology, results and conclusion.
