Book excerpt: To improve the country's educational system and provide a blueprint for the future, the government of India has come up with National Education Policy 2020. The NEP 2020 was approved by the Indian cabinet on July 29 2020. NEP 2020 suggests reforms in India's schools and higher education. National Education Policy 2020 emphasizes the use and integration of technology in school and higher education that will enable India to meet the requirements of quality education in line with the SDGs in the 21st century. This paper is based on secondary data and highlights technology's scope and significance in NEP 2020. The use of technology in educational institutions will help enhance pedagogical methods and student learning. NEP 2020 recommends the creation of the National Educational Technology Forum (NETF) to facilitate open dialogue about how to use technology in school and higher education.
