For the Year Ending January 31, 1932: Also Officers of School District, for the Year Ending June 30, 1931 No motion picture or theatrical performance shall be held on the Lord's day before six o'clock in the afternoon. Sec. 3. It shall be lawful to sell gasoline, oil, and other automobile supplies, and to furnish service and repairs to automotive-apparatus, and to serve food, and sell in addition to those articles permitted by Chapter 385, Sec. 5, of the Public laws; fruits, yege tables, confectionery, ice cream, soft drinks, tobacco in its various forms, flowers, newspapers, periodicals, and toilet necessities, on the Lord's Day, in the Town of New Boston, but no person shall sell any such arti cle, except on his own premises, until he shall have obtained a permit from the Board of Selectmen to sell the same and paid a fee of one dollar a year there for. Sec. 4. It shall be unlawful to conduct 'or\ engage in public dancing, prize fighting, or horse racing in the town of New Boston on the Lord's Day. Sec. 5. All permits issued under sections one and two of this ordinance shall be issued not later than the day preceding the Lord's Day on which the events for which they are issued are held. The Board of Se leetmen may, for just and reasonable cause, refuse to issue a permit or revoke any permit issued under this ordinance but no permit shall be refused or revoked except for such cause. 'no permit issued under this ordinance shall be valid or in force unless signed by a majority of the Board of Selectmen.
