The orchestral debut took place at Vancouver Chan Centre Concert Hall in February 2014 and was a big success. Concerto- Variations is composed in the style of ostinato variations on the original theme, which combines some baroque music elements with traditional Russian music character. A variety of genres, used in the Concerto-Variations op. 3 - Toccata, Minuet, Choral, Berceuse, Spanish Dance -introduces young children to the music of different styles and national characters. The Concerto is excellent choice for young, ambitious students, who achieved level 8/9 according to Toronto Royal Conservatory of Music syllabus. Eight variations with a cadenza and impressive Coda make it a real show piece for children.
